Crew Chief's Update (Restoration Progress):
The Mig-17 has been completely restored to non-flight status.  Minor maintenance and cleaning are the only ongoing tasks related to the Mig at this time.

February-March 2005 The crew is taking the plane apart and exposing the engine and afterburner so that they may remove them to make transport to the hanger easier.
