Artifact Background:
The Crocker Wheeler turret was used in the Beechcraft AT-11 and SNB aircraft.   These aircraft, which were a modification of the Beechcraft C-45, were used to train future bomber crews in flight, bombing, and aerial gunnery.  These turrets were donated by a private collector to MAPS.

Crew Chief's Update (Restoration Progress):
Currently machining mounting brackets for the .30 caliber machine guns that will be installed in the finished turret.
